One essential thing is to prepare your house for the market. We asked the lovely and talentedinterior designer and lifestyle consultant, Dawn Deyong her tips on how a seller can get their home market ready, here’s what she said:
When making the decision to sell your home and move, i feel it is very important more than ever to make your property look inviting to your puritanical buyer giving it the WOW factor.
1. People want the same in different interpretations, modern elegant and high functioning; less is often more.
2.Flowers make a home feel happy
3. Make sure the carpets are cleaned, cushions beautifully puffed up and windows cleaned makes a big difference.
4. If your home has a garden always make sure it has been manicured to a high standard.
5. Ensure that all exterior lighting is in working order and garden furniture is in pristine condition.
Always remember the first 30 seconds are the most important on the eye.
